The Hoshizaki KM range produces crescent shaped ice. Crescent shaped ice is preferred in fast food environments as it displaces more fluid in a cup when filled to the same level as cubes. It is also faster to scoop and leads to less splashing when drink is added.

These machines benefit from stainless steel ice plates (longer lasting and hygienic), manual rinse, easy filter clean, reduced water and power consumption (compared with the IM) and stainless steel cabinets.

24 hour production based on air temp of 10°, water temp of 10°c (air cooled machines).
